Luther J. Ferris

Luther was born in St. John's Antigua, West Indies.  His family moved to Brooklyn in 1970.   He has been Catholic his entire life.  When he was younger he thought he had a calling to be a priest, and so attended  College Prep Seminary High School and College and even the Major Seminary in Rome for a while.  When he left the Seminary, he went to work for the railroad,  MTA Metro North in New York City for 18yrs, as a Train Dispatcher.

He met his wife Sandra (from his parish- St. Jerome in Brooklyn) and got married 1989.  They have two sons (Dominick and Alexavier).  They moved the family to Florida in 1999, but Luther stayed in New York to work.   Luther was able to move to Florida full time when he accepted the Liturgy Coordinator at St Mark.
