Valerie was born in Philadelphia, grew up in NJ and became a parishioner of St. Mark when she relocated to build a home in Wesley Chapel in 2000.
She is blessed with two daughters ( Dana & Krystal) and four grandchildren ( Gabe, Juliana, Ethan - who were all baptized at St. Mark & her youngest, Asher). She enjoys cheering her 4 grandchildren at their numerous weekend travel competitions in baseball, softball, basketball, lacrosse & flag football.
As an avid “foodie”, she spends her vacations traveling to Europe in search of the ultimate bite. She spends her off time working as an executive/life coach, marketing consultant and sometimes she can be found working hard perfecting the art of doing nothing with a nice glass of wine.
Valerie holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Psychology & Applied Behavioral Science, an OE Certificate from Wharton School of Business and a Doctorate Degree in Organizational Leadership & Psychology. She is a certified Family Court Mediator and earned an HR certificate from USF.
After 25 years of traveling internationally as a healthcare consultant, she decided it was time to stay closer to her mother ( Norma Kleer - St. Mark Reader & Columbiette ), children & grandchildren and feels incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to work with her St. Mark family to build & secure our new church to ensure a home for God’s L.O.V.E here at St. Mark forever.!
