(Sept 2015) Greetings to all of you!
This week I am writing to ask for your support in a moment of great importance to our parish. As many of you have kindly expressed your pleasure at the beauty of our new Church, I am now asking once again for your support in helping us to finish paying it off. Little did I know that we would be in this wonderful building in the short time that we began this dream some short years ago. But, because of our parish's great devotion and sacrifice, here we are! I am so grateful to all of you who have made this happen.
This weekend we will be kicking off our Lion's Share Capital Campaign to eliminate our debt in five years! As you can see this will be quite an adventure but I know we can do it! I am asking that those of you who haven't had the opportunity to pledge or give a gift to our last campaign will find it in your heart to give now. We have been the benefactors of a generous group of people and I think we need to reciprocate that great generosity. In addition, those who have contributed in the past, I am also asking if they could continue their pledges for the next 3, 4, or 5 years. I have done that with my pledge from the previous campaign already. I wouldn't ask you to do what I wouldn't do.
So check the bulletin for more details and ideas upon how you can help out to retire this mortgage. I promise to have one heck of a celebration the day we pay it all off! More importantly, you will be an integral part of bringing the Gospel of hope to a world in need of Christ.
