Manages the South Florida Human Resources Staffing office for SunTrust Bank. Works closely with Regional Management to create and deliver staffing strategies that will support business results. Drives business results through the development and implementation of pro-active talent acquisition strategies. Acts as a consultant to hiring managers and HR Business Partners in the design and implementation of customized recruiting strategies that will attract the highest quality talent to the company. Manages a team of recruiters to achieve scorecard results. Manages the diversity recruiting function and Affirmative Action goal achievement within assigned area. Implements and monitors appropriate processes and oversight to minimize compliance and regulatory risks. Consults on senior level openings and executive offer packages. Handles senior-level search assignments as appropriate.
Basic Qualifications: Requires 5+ years in a management or supervisory role and previous experience managing a team of recruiters. Experience in managing a recruiting function focused on high volume recruiting and/or professional, technical, managerial and executive positions. Strong client-service orientation and proven ability to partner with business leaders to successfully drive talent acquisition. Demonstrated team leadership skills and the ability to build and maintain engagement of team members.
Ability to think conceptually and strategically, while maintaining a results-driven approach. Ability to prioritize on a consistent basis in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Demonstrated ability to drive large projects, within budget. Expert skills in the area of pro-active sourcing/search activities, including networking, cold-calling, database mining and internet search techniques. Strong recruiting compliance knowledge and understanding of regulatory landscape. Proven experience in development of diversity recruiting programs and outreach efforts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in recruiting for a financial services firm. Previous experience working in a matrixed organization with a demonstrated track record of achieving recruiting results. PHR/SPHR certification preferred
