The Paid Search Specialist will assist with the development and execution of all search marketing initiatives for all brands to meet established sales and lead goals, target CPL and other performance metrics.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development, launch and optimization of all paid search efforts, including monitoring conversions, running multivariate testing initiatives, copywriting text ads and managing bids on a daily basis according to allocated annual budgets
• Serve as liaison with Paid Search Engines on a daily basis: monitoring reads, providing keyword uploads as necessary, managing any compliance issues with affiliates, etc.
• Assist in management of day-to-day activities associated with affiliate marketing efforts, including but not limited to running reports, communicating with affiliates, accepting or denying publisher applications, management of online banner/text creative, compliance and other issues
• Provide guidance and monthly reporting to brand management team on performance of said brands within search and affiliate efforts, making revisions where necessary to optimize results according to brand personality and restrictions
• Work with Web trends to develop adequate reporting for Brand Management and Senior Management monthly
• Assist in conducting regular analysis and providing recommendations on increased performance in the areas of paid search, organic search, and affiliate: averaging down CPL, budget allocation, maximizing affiliate vendor lists, interactive marketing tactics, research tools for optimization, tactics for increasing business online or increasing conversions, testing modes, SEO alternative tactics, and other key business drivers
• Regularly provide analysis on market trends and competitive products to provide input and guidance on product features, pricing & marketing strategies, gap analysis and product enhancement strategies. Responsible for providing innovative ideas and strategies for increasing lead generation in all Search endeavors, including but not limited to new creative, alternative paid search reads/adgroups, expansion of paid search engine inclusion, etc
• Manage lead-generating strategies and activities for online vendors with adequate communication as needed
• Provide appropriate direction and support to internal groups such as media buying (interactive & print), graphic design, copywriting, database marketing, and corporate sales
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of projects/creative relative to search marketing
• Ensure accuracy of all search content and update/maintain site(s) as appropriate (including directory submissions, links and search reads)
• Assist with management of budgets by brand to ensure search marketing expenditures are within the budgetary guidelines
• Act as liaison with and maintain positive business relationships with agencies, active affiliates or corporate partners
Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, or Interactive Marketing
• Minimum 2-4 years relevant work experience in interactive marketing, brand/product marketing, search marketing, and/or project management
