Greetings to all of you!
In just a few short weeks, we will once again celebrate our Annual Stewardship Renewal. This always is a great opportunity to reassess our giving to God in response to His generosity to us. This year you will be seeing on our church screens some videos on Stewardship and in addition, witness talks done by members of our parish family regarding how this concept has deepened their faith and trust in God. I hope that you will pray about your own response to God and take a step in trust to the God who will never be outdone in generosity!
This past summer I was able to get back on the golf course and despite the heat, it looks like the swing is getting back into shape. I just wish the body wouldn't hurt so much afterwards. Anyway, it's great being out there again.
I hope many of you will be able to enjoy the popular Trunk or Treat again this year on October 26th. What a family oriented and safe way to celebrate Halloween. I'm always amazed at the creativity of our parishioners as they decorate their cars and give out treats. It's always fun so come on out!
Lastly, it looks like our Lady's Shrine is coming along very well. The parish members who are involved in the project have really gone beyond the call of duty in making this a reality. They all have a great devotion to Our Lady. The dedication will be on November 17th before the 4 pm Mass.
