Greetings to all of you!
This weekend I would like to welcome Fr. Coury, a Redemptorist Priest, who will be conducting our Parish Mission as we begin the great season of Lent. He comes highly recommended and I am sure we will be inspired as we enter into this most Holy time. The Mission begins on Monday and ends on Wednesday with Mass. Hope you will be able to attend at least one, or even better, all the presentations so to be wonderfully prepared for the great Easter Event!
I would like to thank all those who have turned in their pledge cards for our Capital Campaign. As you know, we need to pay down our mortgage substantially by May of 2018 so we can continue to offer more spiritual and educational programs for our Parish community. We need your support!
These past two months, I, along with over 40 parish leaders, have been attending workshops on Evangelization as we enter into this important year. I have found these workshops extremely informative and exciting. "Be My Witness" which is the name of this initiative, will eventually be implemented in the parish once we absorb all the information. I know you will find this process as exciting as I have found it to be and it will definitely change your life.
Well, that is all for now. May this Lent be one of inspiration as we deepen our awareness of the Love and Mercy of God.
