Father David is inviting anyone who would like to join a small group of people to cruise to the Holy Land.
There were twenty cabins available on a new ship in the Celebrity line called the Equinox.
The trip begins on October 3rd, 2009 with our flight to Rome (arriving the morning of October 4th). We stay over night in Rome; the next morning transferred to the ship.
The 13 day cruise Itinerary is as follows:1. Rome (Civitavecchia) departing the port at 6pm
2. At sea
3. Athens (Piraeus), Greece 10am-7pm
4. Ephesus (Kusadasi), Turkey 7am-7pm
5. At sea
6. Haifa, Israel 7am-10pm
7. Jerusalem (Ashod), Israel 7am-7pm
8. Alexandria, Egypt 10am
9. Alexandria 10pm
10.At sea
11.At sea
12.Sicily (Messina, Italy 10am-6pm
13.Naples/Capri,Italy) 7am-6:30pm
14.Rome(Civitavecchia) 7am (October 18th)**At this point some people will fly home on October 18th or stay a few more days and join Father David on a tour to St. Peters below the sanctuary to St. Peter's grave and the following day to the catacombs. Then a return home on the 20th of October.
The cruise portion of the trip for two adults costs $6674.09 including taxes and port fees. This is an Aqua Class cabin with balcony on the spa deck. The price for the air fare will depend on when you book. Hotels in Rome will be about $325 approximately.
