Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform in-depth target analysis activities including analyzing site information and demographics particular to client needs
• Develop and drive media strategies for client account(s)
• Develop and maintain media plans and monitor all approvals and client budgets
• Prepare plan presentations and oversee preparation of interactive media plan presentation elements
• Author and/or constructively edit and review the writing of media documents (timelines, IOs, plans, agreements, client memos, and correspondence from within and outside the agency)
• Setting/achieving metrics
• Aggressively negotiate and buy interactive media (work with CPM/CPC/CPA pricing)
• Oversee the preparation and distribution of Insertion Orders/RFPs for media buys
• Analyze campaign data and prepare recommendations
• Work with sites to resolve any campaign set up issues, tracking issues or billing issues
• Monitor and QA creative units after campaign launches to ensure accurate implementation
• Measure and optimize ROI
• Ensure that client goals, budget and target audience are met
• Review site invoices and work with Accounting to ensure accurate payment and to prepare campaign reconciliations
• Assist team members on your specific account(s) for accurate timelines, that projects adhere to budget, and that all outgoing documents are clean
• Maintain appropriate and responsive working relationships with clients as well as vendors
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
• 3 + years of interactive media buying experience preferably in an interactive agency
• 3 + years of interactive marketing concepts and practices
• Excellent presentation, negotiation & communication skills required
• Experience analyzing complex data, market research and formulating actionable plans
• 4 yr degree in Advertising, Marketing or related program preferred
