This week we will be experiencing the Holiest Week of the Year as Lent comes to a close and we now celebrate the last days of the life of Jesus which culminates in the resurrection! I hope these last forty days have been a life-changing experience for you so that Easter will have so much more meaning. What an exciting time for the Church and I pray that you all will participate in the Holy Week services to deepen faith and trust in the Lord. Check the bulletin or our website for more information.
As you know, Easter Sunday always draws huge crowds to St. Mark and traffic control can be problematic. To make things easier, I ask for your help. We need people who are willing to direct people to parking spaces and keep the flow of traffic moving. If you can help, please contact the office and we will put you in touch with our coordinator. Just maybe, some people who have been away from God will return to the Church do to our caring disposition. May God bless your stewardship!
Lastly, I would like to thank all of you for making this year's fish fry a huge success. Our brothers in the Knights of Columbus did an outstanding job again in organizing and making sure everyone had a great experience. It was awesome seeing so many people using the Venetian for fellowship and a delicious dinner. See you all again next year.
Well, that is all for now. May this Holy Time bring you closer to the God who loves us to death.
