RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PROGRAMS GRADES K – 8
St. Mark’s Religious Ed. programs are here to assist the parents in their responsibility to raise their child(ren) in the faith, by reinforcing what is already being taught and lived in the home.
Classroom Program
Our classes are age-appropriate, characteristic of developmental stages, and start with God as creator of all and Jesus as the teacher of our way of life.
F.I.R.E. (Family Centered Intergenerational Religious Education)
The F.I.R.E. Program is an all-ages education program led by families for one another.
Home school Program
Families may choose to work on the classroom materials at home with their child(ren).
VOLUNTEER CATECHISTS NEEDED
It is our policy that we have two adult catechists in each classroom, with a maximum of fifteen students. In order to keep to these guidelines, we need volunteers who are willing to share their faith with our children. If you are interested, you will meet with Claudia Garcia and discuss the requirements and your area of interest. Ink Cartridge Recycling Program
A HUGE Thanks goes out to everyone who has supported our recycling program!!
We Have raised over $1500 and are purchasing many great books for our resource library.
Keep up the donations - we appreciate your help.
We have a drop off box in the Narthex and in Mary 1.
Liturgy of the Word for Children
Liturgy of the Word for all pre-school children, ages
3-5 at the 10:30am and 5:30pm Masses.
SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION CCD Catechism
Preparation in the Parish is necessary for the sacraments, whether attending public or parochial schools. Two full, consecutive years of Faith Formation are required to register in the Sacramental preparation program.
